The purpose of this role is to manage clients and coordinate dentsu specialist resources to ensure the clients' marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to the client, understanding and articulating client business insights and leveraging them to contribute ways to move the business forward. The role involves leading and monitoring activities; proactively identifying client opportunities; collaborating positively with the Client Management team by sharing and aligning activities with the client director, other business partners, and client managers on the account; and working with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the client's business.

Client Governance & Growth

Manage the business by delivering the service proposition to clients and overseeing full end-to-end management of the business for individual clients.

Proactively identify client development opportunities, including cross-sell and upsell opportunities, in alignment with the Client Director.

Liaise with Media Relations, Trading, and Programmatic counterparts to ensure planning propositions align with trading priorities.

Understand clients' fee models to maximize business revenue.

Develop best practices and more efficient ways of working, ensuring positive and continuous interfaces with the rest of the Client Management team, Activation teams, and other Media/Practices units.

Articulate the broader purpose and vision with their teams, emphasizing the 'what' and the 'why'.

Build shared understanding of purpose and mission, encouraging others to find purpose in their work. Energize client teams to deliver the strategy and purpose.

Maintain positive relations with internal stakeholders to maximize client objectives and dentsu culture, ensuring a lasting positive experience.

Have a clear understanding of the client contractual terms to align with the agreed Scope of Work (SoW) and business objectives.

Client Relationship

Own the client relationships as per the defined relationship strategy.

Ensure client satisfaction while expanding existing revenue streams and building new ones.

Partner with team members across different verticals to build strong relationships with their counterparts and deliver outstanding client service. Demonstrate understanding of clients' total needs, anticipate upcoming needs or concerns, and proactively engage with industry news or trends affecting them.

Actively collaborate with other teams, leveraging the full range of capabilities within the responsibility area. Promote collaboration between teams.

Build and leverage networks within the responsibility area; seek to expand the network. Adapt to others' styles and gain commitment through negotiation and persuasion to create win-win scenarios.

Shape strong new client propositions and find new ways to add value. Build trusted adviser connections with clients and actively seek to improve client satisfaction.

Business Acumen : Possess thorough knowledge of the business or area of expertise to think, act, manage, and lead towards set goals and KPIs. Understand how the business works, including industry landscape, key drivers, threats, and opportunities. Take a financial, commercial, and future-forward view to influence decision-making and investment.

People Management : Ability to build and maintain an effective, engaged team according to dentsu's managerial model (How We Team). Partner beyond boundaries, bridging team, business area, and cultural differences.

Communication : Ability to express and refine complex ideas to various audiences clearly and effectively, using multiple modes of communication. Adapt messaging depending on stakeholders' roles and timing.

Project Management : End-to-end project management, including planning, implementation, financial budgeting, and controlling. Focus on scope, time, quality, and budget constraints, and optimize the allocation of inputs to meet objectives.
