Task Description

• Develop scientific algorithms in SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysis.
• Conduct engineering requirements analysis and flow‑down activities.
• Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
• Perform mission analysis for satellite optical systems.
• Carry out calibration activities for operational SAR systems.
• Understand the physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
• Define and execute end‑to‑end verification approaches.
• Write technical documents and project reports.

Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate holds an engineering master’s degree, preferably with a Ph.D., and has strong analytical, problem‑solving, and statistical‑analysis skills for temporal and spatial data. Experience with scientific data analysis and a team‑working mindset are essential, as well as an openness to diverse cultures and collaborative problem solving.

Fluent English – spoken and written.
