We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI team focused on bringing ML & Generative AI into the heart of our operations (claims, underwriting, customer support).

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to redesign core operative processes, leveraging ML & GenAI to enhance efficiency and quality of outcomes. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to design and deliver AI‑driven products that create tangible business value.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end‑to‑end development of ML & GenAI solutions to transform operations, from problem framing and data exploration to production deployment.
• Set and uphold high technical standards across multiple AI initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency.
• Mentor fellow DSs, accelerate team learning, and drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience (3+ years) in data science or applied ML, leading end‑to‑end initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical and quantitative mindset, able to translate data into insights, assess model performance, and guide decision‑making with evidence.
• Structured problem solver, skilled at framing ambiguous challenges, defining success metrics, and communicating results to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Practical technical experience in coding (Python proficiency) and ML/GenAI (scikit‑learn, XGBoost, GenAI LLM APIs such as OpenAI GPT or Gemini).
• Curious, adaptive leader, proactive in exploring new methods and driving innovation.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Global mindset: experience working across countries or multi‑market products.
• Language skills: business proficiency in Italian or Spanish in addition to English.
