Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior System Interiors Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks in Engineering Department. The position is based in PISTOIA - IT

Accountabilities

• Support and coordination during the bid and project development of the technical design of interiors passenger seats systems
• Definition of the conceptual solution of These Equipments Integration on vehicles
• Preparation of system requirements specifications of these systems
• Analysis of Suppliers technical proposals (CbC Mom Gantt Tests etc)
• Checking the technical description of the system
• Verification of 3D 2D drawings / documents for installation / integration on board
• Checking of FEM analysis report
• Tolerance concept & analysis for equipment integration
• Preparation / verification of performance test specification
• Support during FAI tests
• Design review with Clients and Suppliers
• System Work Package Requirements manager
• Management of the contractual documentation to and from the supplier (CbC Mom Gantt Tests etc)

Required Skills / Knowledge

Education / Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background (also technical high school graduation can be analysed)

Languages

Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.

English language knowledge on at least international B2 level
