R&D and Industrialization Engineer

Your role

The new resource will be engaged in the development and industrialization of new technologies for compressed air treatment, with a strong electrical/electronic focus and basic mechanical knowledge. The candidate will manage the design, validation, and industrialization of advanced solutions, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. A creative and modular mindset is required, as well as the ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to production launch.

Responsibilities

• Design and sizing electrical/electronic and mechanical systems for compressed air treatment equipment, with basic mechanical integration.
• Selection of key components (electrical panels, sensors, controls, power supplies, wirings).
• Design of the structures and proportioning and/or choice of heat exchange systems.
• Preparation and management of 2D electrical drawings, 3D CAD mechanical drawings with related layout and models according to company standards.
• Creation and maintenance of bills of materials and master data.
• Definition and execution of test plans, prototype validation, and industrialization support.
• Preparation of technical documentation for CE compliance (risk analysis, FMEA, manuals).
• Collaboration with Marketing and Service for technical content and product comparisons.

Educational requirements

Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience requirements

• ≥ 2‑3 years of experience.
• Core expertise in electrical design, 2D/3D CAD, and PLM systems.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in Mechanical/Thermodynamic design, 2D/3D mechanical CAD, is a preferential requirement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (AS400/BPCS or SAP).
• Professional English.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza, Italy).
