Cost & Methods Engineer - Concrete Structures

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join the Estimates & Methods team in Milan . The candidate will support national and international tenders with technical and economic analyses and the development of construction methods for viaducts, stations, and large complex structures.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of metric calculations, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
• Estimation of direct and indirect costs for cast-in-place concrete, formwork, carpentry, and prefabricated elements.
• Evaluation of production cycles and yields to optimize construction sequences and times.
• Contribution to the preparation of technical and economic bids. Updating of economic estimates based on offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Interfacing with Procurement and Planning for benchmarking and cost planning.
• Preparation of the economic documentation required by tenders (BoQ, cash flow, breakdown of materials and equipment).
• Support for economic and financial risk analysis and proposal of methodological variations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering , preferably with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in the design or estimation of reinforced concrete works (viaducts, stations, complex buildings).
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of estimation/cost control software.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work abroad.
