Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer (f/m/d)

Let’s work together towards a successful energy transition. We are looking for an Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) at our office in Rom or remote in Italy.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design of PV Plants and Wind Farms with special emphasis on the electrical design and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL, HVUL and substations).

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Design of PV Plants and Wind Farms and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL, HVUL and substations).
• Perform technical feasibility assessment of Wind Farms and solar PV Plants.
• Design all aspects of Solar PV/Wind projects:
• Resource Assessment.
• Layout tradeoff and design.
• Equipment selection.
• Electrical infrastructures: internal electrical lines, MV/HV OL and UL and MV/HV Substations.
• Plot and expropriation lists (piano particellare).
• Elaborate and sign all technical documentation provided in the frame of the Administrative Authorization and Municipal license.
• Prepare the documentation required to obtain grid access rights, connection agreements, STMG, STMD, contracts, and commissioning certificates from ENEL or TERNA.
• Liaise with external consultants supporting the project design and technical due diligences.
• Elaborate technical drawings with the details of the land affected for the land lease contracts.
• Leader of the technical negotiation of the contracts for equipment, EPC or BoP, in cooperation with other company departments.

Requirements:

• MSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered with the Ordine degli Ingegneri.
• At least 3 (3 for Junior and 6 for Senior) years of professional experience in renewable energy design and associated electrical infrastructures.
• Experience in preparing administrative and executive projects for PV plants, wind farms, substations, and electrical lines.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation for grid access and connection requests (STMG & STMD).
• Advanced knowledge of Wind Pro, PVsyst, PVCase, pvDesign, Civil 3D, and QGIS.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Independent way of working, commitment, creativity, accuracy.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English (C1).
