QA/QC Manager

Hill International is seeking a QA/QC Manager for one of our Oil & Gas projects based in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Project QA/QC Manager for the overall onshore and offshore fields development.
• Major Contracts involving detailed Engineering, Procurement and Construction for Offshore Platforms, Onshore Mellitah Complex Expansion work scope, Offshore pipelines, Subsea Production facilities, Subsea control system and Offshore Drilling contracts
• Development of the project Quality Management System
• Establishing quality processes internally/with Contractors
• Review and approval of contractors technical qualifications and procedures (NDT, fabrication, welding, hydro etc.)
• Monitoring of the QA/QC implementation process throughout the project execution phase
• Preparation of Document/System turnover
• Risk Register
• Coordinating MOC process
• Preparation of the Project Verification scheme for the execution of Independent Verification.
• Review and Approval of EPIC/EPC Contractors QA/QC deliverables and audit plans

Key Activities

• Responsible for development of quality control systems
• Manage performance of internal audits
• Ensure implementation of the organization's Document Control System

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university
• Work experience of fifteen (15) years in the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
