About the jobWe are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team.Responsibilities:Partner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend softwareDesign and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools featuresPerformance of day-by-day bug fixingMinimum qualifications:3+ years of experienceGood knowledge of Java EnterpriseGood Knowledge of Spring FrameworkGood knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plusAbility to adapt and learn new skills quicklyBeing fluent in English, both written and spoken.Preferred qualifications:Experience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loadsKnowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka)Knowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plusMore on qualifications:You are comfortable working independently, while functioning as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, dialogue, development, learning, and growth.You care about solving big, systemic problems.
