Project Development Manager

The Green Recruitment Company partnered with a leading renewable energy company with more around 20 GW of projects under development to work in their Italian office.

The Business Project Manager will be in charge of the technical business development and origination of solar PV and Onshore Wind projects in Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project development activities for Onshore Wind and Solar PV projects.

• Obtain grid access and connection processes, including Technical Access Contracts and coordination with ENEL and TERNA (EON-ION-FON).

• Accomplish Environmental Impact Approvals for renewable energy projects and overseen the development of joint evacuation infrastructure.

• Land lease negotiations, preparation of plot lists and handling expropriation procedures.

• Draft and manage documentation related to Administrative Authorizations, Grid Connection, and Construction phases.

• Conduct technical and legal due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external consultants to support project design and technical assessments.

• Develop and negotiate technical and commercial terms for land lease agreements, DDS, and acquisition contracts.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Master Degree.

• 5+ years of experience originating and developing onshore Wind and Solar PV projects.

• Skilled in managing and overseeing Sole Authorization procedures for wind farms and photovoltaic (PV) plants, ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations, and executing related renewable energy projects.

• Experience in the elaboration of technical documents for grid connection with Terna.

• Experience and knowledge working with QGis.

• Fluency in English and availability to travel is a requirement.
