As Operations Manager, you will own automation and AI-driven improvements across Deel’s global payroll processes. You’ll build, test, and iterate AI-powered workflows (Akai) while leading end-to-end projects across multiple workstreams. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and ops teams to fix gaps, surface leadership‑ready insights, and drive efficiency at scale. This hands‑on role rewards proactive problem solving and cross‑functional collaboration to advance our global operations. • 5+ years of experience in operations in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort with building and troubleshooting AI workflows, not just using AI
• Engineering background or equivalent technical exposure preferred
• Experience managing and mentoring small to mid‑sized xysqume teams
• Strong problem‑solving and detail‑oriented, solutions‑minded
• KPI‑driven with track record of improving metrics
• Exposure to process automation and operational tooling
• Background in FinTech, consulting, banking, or fast‑paced startups preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insights (SQL familiarity a plus)
