Global TechOp&S oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.This is what you will doYou will drive the end-to-end (E2E) planning and performance of assigned rare disease brands, balancing revenue delivery with a zero-tolerance approach to patient supply continuity. You will act as key interface between Supply Chain and Commercial teams, ensuring demand plans are translated into executable supply strategies that maximize product availability while protecting patients. The Global Brand Planner will support product-level decision-making, ensuring trade-offs prioritize patient impact while optimizing financial outcomes.Scope & Organizational ImpactGlobal responsibility across multiple rare disease brands for E2E planning post Demand consolidationStrong interface with Global and Regional Brand teams to support sustainable revenue deliveryDirect contribution to patient continuity, product availability, and revenue protectionOperates in a zero-tolerance environment for stock-outs impacting patientsYou will be responsible forDevelop and maintain global supply plans aligned to commercial forecasts while safeguarding patient supplyTranslate demand signals into supply plans that ensure uninterrupted patient access and support revenue realizationPartner closely with Brand Managers to align on demand assumptions, launch readiness, and growth scenariosIdentify and proactively manage risks to patient supply and revenue (stock-outs, constraints, delays)Coordinate with Supply Execution, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure plan feasibility and robustnessSupport scenario planning to evaluate trade-offs, prioritizing patient impact first, then financial outcomesMonitor KPIs including service level, inventory, and revenue-at-riskSupport IBP / S&OP processes with clear articulation of patient and financial implicationsInteraction with GRD Affiliates & Business LeadershipCollaborate with BU Business Managers and Affiliates to ensure alignment between patient needs and market demandSupport translation of global supply plans into reliable local executionCommunicate supply risks with clear visibility of patient and revenue impactAct as key partner to commercial teams in prioritization decisions under constraintsYou will need to haveDegree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field5–10 years pharma/biotech supply chain experienceFluent EnglishExperience in planning processes (IBP / S&OP)Exposure to global supply chains and CMO environmentsExperience working with Commercial / Brand teams is strongly preferredFamiliarity with planning tools such as SAP IBP, OMP, KinaxisLeadership & Competency ProfileStrong business and patient-centric mindsetAbility to balance patient needs with commercial and financial objectivesEffective stakeholder management across Commercial and OperationsAnalytical and structured problem-solving approachAbility to operate in matrix and cross-functional environmentsHigh accountability in critical, patient-impacting situationsLocationPreferably Parma, with the possibility of weekly remote working, or DublinBudgeted Salary RangeThe budgeted salary range approved for this role is between 52.240 and 65.300. This range reflects the typical compensation expected for candidates with the experience and expertise required for the position. Final offer may vary based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, overall profile, and internal equity considerations. This role is eligible to participate in an annual bonus scheme, subject to company and individual performance.In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical insurance, wellbeing programme, flexible benefits programme… The package outlined above is based on the role being located in Italy.
