Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an HR Manager to lead the people agenda for our Italian operations: Sonus faber in Arcugnano and De Santi in San Martino di Lupari.
It is a broad role by design. You are a trusted advisor to our leadership team and to managers across production, woodworking, R&D, quality and commercial, and you also own the operational side across two legal entities: contracts, payroll, industrial relations and compliance. For the right person that combination is the appeal. You see the whole picture and you are close enough to the business to act on it.
You report to the Associate HR Director EMEA and work as part of an international HR community across McIntosh Group and Bose. Locally, you are the main point of contact for everything HR, present on both sites and the person colleagues turn to. Globally, you are well connected: you work in close partnership with HR Business Partners and our Centres of Excellence, and you are an active member of the wider Luxury HR team. The role gives you local ownership and the backing of a group behind it.
What You Will Do

Advise the Italian leadership team on organisation design, workforce planning, capability building and succession across both companies.
Support and coach managers, including production, woodworking and technical leads, on feedback, performance, absence and team development.
Deliver group-wide cycles locally: performance and salary review, engagement, talent review. Translate international frameworks into an approach that fits a craft manufacturing environment.
Manage employee relations cases end to end, from first signal through to resolution, working with external counsel where needed.
Partner with hiring managers on recruitment for skilled craft, engineering and commercial roles, and make sure onboarding is strong. In a workshop, the first month shapes the years that follow.
Work in close partnership with HR Business Partners and our Centres of Excellence, including talent acquisition, reward and learning and development, bringing their expertise to bear locally and sharing back what you learn on the ground.
Stay closely connected to the wider Luxury HR team, contributing to shared initiatives and to a consistent people experience across our brands.
Contribute to the alignment of group HR standards and systems following the Bose acquisition, bringing together the benefits of group scale with what makes our brands distinctive.
Owning HR operations

Run the full employee lifecycle administration for both entities: contracts, amendments, probation, transfers, exits and Comunicazioni Obbligatorie (UNILAV).
Manage the monthly payroll cycle for both companies with our external payroll provider: variable pay, overtime, shift allowances, checks, approvals and reconciliation with Finance.
Ensure compliance with Italian labour law, the CCNL applicable to each company, INPS/INAIL obligations, TFR and working time rules.
Maintain constructive relations with worker representatives and trade unions at each site, and support local agreements where relevant.
Work with the H&S function on obligations under D.Lgs. 81/2008 for both sites, including coordination with the medico competente and mandatory training plans, a particular focus in a woodworking environment.
Administer benefits and welfare aziendale (meal vouchers, supplementary health, pension fund, company car policy) and manage provider relationships.
Keep Workday accurate for both populations and deliver reliable local and group reporting, in line with GDPR.
Continue to develop and document our HR processes as the company grows, so that they work well across two entities and two sites.
What You Bring

5+ years of HR experience in Italy, with a track record covering both business partnering and hands-on operations. This role draws on both, every week.
Solid command of Italian labour law, CCNL application, payroll and industrial relations. Experience across more than one legal entity, or in a manufacturing or production environment, is a clear advantage.
Fluent Italian and confident professional English. You will work daily with EMEA and US colleagues.
Comfort with a hands‑on, multi‑site remit: you organise your own priorities and move easily between a leadership discussion and a payroll detail.
A collaborative instinct in an international setting: you build relationships across borders and functions, and you reach out to colleagues and Centres of Excellence rather than solving everything alone.
Sound judgement and discretion. In an organisation of our size, trust is central to the role.
Confident with HR systems and Excel, and able to turn people data into practical recommendations.
Also valuable

Experience in an international matrix, ideally through an acquisition or systems harmonisation.
Exposure to premium, luxury or design‑led brands.
