We’re Hiring: Language Specialist – AI Training

Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD) is looking for Italian Language Specialists / Linguistics Experts based in ITALY to support cutting-edge AI training, Large Language Model (LLM) evaluation, and linguistic data projects.

Job Title: Linguistics Expert – AI Training (Italian)

Location: ITALY

Language: Italian

Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above

Work Area: AI Training | LLM Evaluation | Linguistic Data

What You’ll Do:

• Create and edit linguistically rich content, including grammar guides, syntactic analyses, usage explanations, and NLP examples.
• Identify and resolve issues related to ambiguity, bias, grammaticality, and language quality.
• Evaluate AI/LLM outputs for fluency, tone, accuracy, and language appropriateness.
• Annotate linguistic datasets with syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic labels.
• Conduct linguistic research and summarize findings for internal teams.
• Analyze model behavior, error patterns, and generalization issues using linguistic expertise.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of linguistic theory and language structure.
• Strong command of Italian, with excellent written communication skills.
• Background in areas such as syntax, semantics, pragmatics, morphology, phonology, or sociolinguistics.
• Strong writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in computational linguistics, corpus analysis, data annotation, NLP, or LLM training is a plus.
• Current residential status and citizenship in Italy.
• Willingness to complete a Skill Test and Versant English Proficiency Test.
