About the role

The CR Software Engineer contributes to the continuous evolution, optimization, and fine-tuning of software solutions deployed at customer sites. Working within the Customer Service organization, this role is responsible for implementing software enhancements and upgrades that align customer systems with the ongoing technological development of the company’s software suite.

By combining software development, customer interaction, and technical support activities, the CR Software Engineer helps ensure that customers continue to benefit from high-performing, reliable, and future-ready solutions throughout the lifecycle of their automated systems.

Principle duties & Responsabilities

• Software customization: Design and develop software modifications and enhancements according to customer requirements and project specifications.
• Software validation: Test and validate developed functionalities to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and expected performance.
• Software deployment: Install and deploy software updates and customizations remotely and/or at customer sites.
• Second-Level support: Deliver advanced technical support following software deployment, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to software functionality, configurations, and implemented enhancements.
• Customer training: Provide training and knowledge transfer to customer personnel, ensuring effective use of implemented solutions.

Requirements / nice-to-have

• Proficiency in C# and experience with Microsoft .NET technologies is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle (basic knowledge accepted).
• Knowledge of software solutions for business process management systems.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
