We are currently looking for our future Footwear Product Developer .

If you enjoy understanding how a shoe works, challenging a material, solving a technical problem with a manufacturer and turning an idea into a high-performing product on the field, this position should interest you.

Your playground

You will be responsible for the technical development of a portfolio of outdoor footwear, from the design phase to product validation, in conjunction with our development partners and suppliers, in Europe and Asia.

Specifically, you:

• Lead product development and coordinate the entire development cycle while respecting schedules, budgets and quality objectives.
• Foster the daily relationship with our development partners and their suppliers , both in France and internationally.
• Build, challenge and develop technical specifications with factories and external partners.
• Organize and lead fittings, field tests and technical validations .
• Analyze feedback from testers, quality teams, suppliers, sales teams, and end users to identify necessary improvements.
• Manage the materials library and supplier catalogues , ensuring the reliability of information and test results.
• Ensure the integration and reliability of development data in our PLM .
• Identify and test new materials, technologies and construction methods , with particular attention to performance and durability.
• Actively monitor developments in the outdoor footwear market and contribute to the advancement of our product ranges and development methods.
• Anticipate difficulties, propose proactive solutions and secure key development stages.

What will make the difference

We are primarily looking for a technical footwear expert , capable of moving from raw material to finished product and from prototype to industrialized product.

Ideally, you have a background in flexible materials, with a specialization in footwear , at an engineering level or equivalent.

You have at least 5 years of experience in product development , including significant experience in technical footwear , ideally in the outdoor or sports sector.

You have advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and are comfortable in both French and English , both written and spoken, in an international environment.

And above all…

You are known for your rigor, organization and autonomy .

You know how to manage several projects in parallel, prioritize your tasks and make decisions to move developments forward.

You are curious, pragmatic and solution-oriented. You like to understand, test, challenge and improve.

And of course, you have a genuine interest in the outdoor world: mountains, mountaineering, skiing, trail running, hiking or other nature sports.

The position involves regular travel within France and abroad to meet with our partners.
