Role Description

We are seeking a General Manager to lead the Real Estate Division of VRL Luxury Brokerage and drive its commercial development, team growth, and international expansion.

Working directly with the Board, you will be responsible for translating the company’s vision into a clear strategy for the division, establishing commercial priorities, and overseeing their execution.

This is a leadership role for an experienced real estate professional who combines strategic thinking with the ability to manage teams, develop business, and remain directly involved in high-value opportunities and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement the Real Estate Division’s commercial strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Lead, coordinate, and develop a network of real estate consultants and brokers.

Support the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and professional development of new team members.

Establish commercial targets and monitor performance, pipeline development, and transaction progress.

Drive the acquisition of prestigious properties and the development of qualified buyer and investor relationships.

Identify opportunities for expansion into new geographical markets and luxury real estate segments.

Build strategic relationships with property owners, developers, investors, family offices, and brokerage partners.

Oversee key negotiations and support brokers in managing complex, high-value transactions.

Establish clear operating standards for opportunity management, CRM use, reporting, and client follow-up.

Maintain high standards of professionalism, discretion, and service across the division.

Coordinate with the company’s other divisions to develop opportunities relevant to shared clients.

Report directly to the Board on results, priorities, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in real estate brokerage, with a strong track record in luxury or high-value property transactions.

Previous experience in a leadership, management, or business development role within the real estate industry.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, motivate, and develop commercial teams.

Strong commercial judgment and the ability to turn strategic objectives into measurable results.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Experience working with high-net-worth clients, investors, property owners, and industry professionals.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate professionals operating across different markets.

Confidence using CRM systems, monitoring sales pipelines, and evaluating commercial performance.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a strong plus.

A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
