You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.As a Control System Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:Defining Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)Defining the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs Defining and verifying functional safety requirements of Control System architecture based on internal and international standards (IEC61508 and IEC61511) Collaborating the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting, and developing new ideasFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have BSc. or MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.Be familiar with PLC architecture, computer networks, and industrial Safety principlesHave developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate othersBe able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.Be fluent in spoken and written English.Would represent a plus:Have proven working experience in an engineering position for Control design.Meaningful prior experience in an Energy Transition related business or industry.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
