About the role

As a Marketing Intern Durex, you will gain hands-on experience within one of the world's leading sexual wellbeing brands, supporting the local marketing team in driving brand growth and delivering impactful consumer experiences. Working closely with Brand, Trade, Regulatory, and Legal teams, you will contribute to the adaptation and execution of global campaigns for the Italian market, ensuring local relevance, compliance, and excellence in execution. This role offers broad exposure to both analytical and brand-building activities, from monitoring market performance and interpreting sell-out data across channels to supporting the development of customer-facing materials. It's an exciting opportunity for a curious and proactive individual who is passionate about combining data-driven thinking with marketing creativity in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Durex brand strategy across multiple marketing touchpoints, contributing to brand growth through data-driven insights, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analyze sell-out performance across pharmacy, mass market, and e-commerce channels, identifying key trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Monitor category and brand performance through data analysis, tracking volumes, pricing, distribution, market share, and market dynamics.
• Support the development of presentations, reports, and commercial materials for Trade Marketing and Sales initiatives.
• Assist in coordinating artwork and packaging updates, partnering with external agencies as well as Regulatory, Legal, and Trade teams to ensure compliant and timely execution.
• Support the localization and execution of global campaigns across digital, social, and in-store touchpoints, collaborating with external agencies when required.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of marketing projects and business priorities.

The experience we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communication, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in Marketing or within the FMCG industry would be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
• Naturally curious with a critical-thinking approach and the confidence to challenge assumptions and explore new opportunities.
• Combines a structured, data-driven mindset with creativity and the agility to move seamlessly between analytical and communication-focused activities.
• Proactive, energetic, and resilient, with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets, reports, and performance dashboards.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
