Join our Human Health Biosolutions Sales Team!


We are looking for a Sales Manager HHB (m/f) who will be responsible for developing business in southern Europe area. He/she will have to handle part of current customer portfolio, manage new lead and try to develop them.


The Human Health Biosolutions South West EU, UK & Ireland and Nordic sales team is composed of 4 Sales Managers reporting to the Director of Sales covering the area. The team members are based in different countries but meeting almost everyday every week. A face to face meeting is set up every quarter and twice per year the entire EMEIA sales team meet together. The department handles approx. 40 millions EUR business and the team has the task to make this growing every year in alignment with HHB targets.


In this role you will have an impact:


  • Manage and develop a portfolio of non-strategic customer accounts across Southern Europe, including Italy, France, and Spain. Better to say: across teh sub-region.
  • Generate new sales leads through online inquiries, trade shows, exhibitions, and other events.
  • Follow up on new leads and develop them into potential business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and support their ongoing needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support customer development and commercial growth.
  • The position will be based in Italy, the key market in the region, where additional commercial support is needed.
  • The person will be in close dialogue with manager to set the go to market strategy


To be successful you must have:


  • A technical or scientific background, such as food science, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 or 2 years experience in B2B sales in ingredients, dietery supplements or food.
  • Fluent English and proficiency in a second language, preferably Spanish or French.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks and results.
  • A strategic and creative approach to business development.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and technology in everyday work.
  • An interest in understanding and applying AI and other emerging technologies to support business activities.


Working conditions:

Office location is Parma in Italy but working from remote in Italy is acceptable. Travel time is approx. 40%-50% of the time across the sub-region.
