Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT in the ADMINISTRATIVE/ TRAINING DEPT of NAVCOMTELSTA SIGONELLA, Italy. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

Duties

Help

• You will establishes and maintains all office files to include US Civilian and Local National (LN).
• You will receive calls and visitors, arrange travel, coordinate appointments and independently maintain the calendars on behalf of the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer.
• You will assists with VIP visits and/ or command events drafting.
• You will manage manages civilian performance evaluations program, including performance plans, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisal evaluations in a timely manner following policy through the cycle to maintain the performance program.
• You will manage the Time and Attendance civilian program verifying timecards in accordance with established policies and maintaining biweekly and quarterly system reports.
• You will manages the recruitment program gathering and verify information necessary to prepare civilian Requests for Personnel Action (RPA), Position Description evaluations, incentives, and civilian management requests.
• You will oversee the civilian Drug-Free Workplace program.

Qualifying Experience Would Be Demonstrated By

• Analyze programs and recommend improvements on the effective applications of civilian programs to support administrative work of supervisors or senior staff.
• Operate a computer with Internet browsing, database capabilities and advance word processing software to create and manipulate complex formats.
• Interpret regulations and procedures pertaining to civilian personnel administration to support program management and personnel work.

The Cyber Interagency Transfer Authority (CITA) permits movement of CES employees appointed under Section 1599f of Title 10 U.S.C. and excepted service employees appointed under Schedule A, Section 213.3106(b)(11) of Title 5 CFR, into cyber workforce positions in the competitive service and movement of competitive service employees into DoD Cyber Workforce positions within the Military Departments and Defense Agencies.
