Position: EUROPE EVENTS MANAGER Reports to: Head of Marketing Europe The Europe Events Manager is responsible for driving and executing the Events strategy across Europe, ensuring full alignment with Valentino’s Global Marketing vision and Brand DNA. The role contributes to strengthening Valentino’s positioning as a leading luxury Maison by delivering elevated, consistent and client-centric event experiences, designed to enhance brand desirability, exclusivity and long-term client engagement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Events Strategy & Brand Alignment

• Define and implement the European Events strategy in line with Global guidelines and Valentino brand positioning;
• Ensure all activations fully reflect Valentino’s codes, aesthetics and storytelling;
• Guarantee consistency and excellence across all European markets.
• Prepare structured presentations for HQ summarizing activities for approval.

Event Execution & Excellence

• Coordinate the execution of events, including VIC events, clienteling activations, product launches, in-store experiences, and partnership animations in close alignment with the Global Marketing team;
• Ensure a best-in-class luxury execution, with strong attention to detail, personalization and exclusivity;
• Oversee and coordinate the European events calendar, ensuring prioritization and coherence.
• Coordinate and directly manage the full execution of events, including VIC events, clienteling activations, product launches, in-store experiences and partnership activations, ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery;
• Lead the operational planning of events, including timelines, production plans and detailed run of show for each activation;
• Identify, select and manage all external suppliers (catering, agencies, production suppliers, entertainment, logistics partners), ensuring alignment with Valentino standards and budget guidelines;
• Source and continuously evaluate new suppliers to enhance quality, creativity and efficiency;
• Coordinate closely with store teams, Visual Merchandising and Store Operations to ensure proper in-store execution, setup and compliance with brand guidelines;
• Supervise on-site execution when required, ensuring flawless delivery, attention to detail and problem-solving in real time.

Client Engagement & CRM Integration

• Partner closely with the Client Engagement (CRM) team to define targeted event strategies based on client segmentation and insights;
• Design events to support client acquisition, retention and loyalty, with a specific focus on VIC clients;
• Ensure full integration between events, clienteling activities and CRM journeys (invitation strategy, follow-up, performance tracking).

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as a key point of coordination between Global Marketing and regional/local teams;
• Collaborate with Retail/Wholesale, PR, Beauty, Client Engagement and local Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution;
• Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring adherence to Valentino standards;
• In collaboration with HQ event production team, drive efficiency by continually identifying and evaluating new vendors and suppliers to enhance event delivery.

Budget & Performance Monitoring

• Plan, manage, and review event budget across stores, monitoring activities, timelines and execution costs;
• Define and monitor KPIs (client engagement, traffic, conversion, ROI);
• Produce comprehensive qualitative and quantitative reports on events executed within the relevant regions and monitor return on investment;
• Provide structured reporting and actionable insights to optimize future activations.

Innovation & Client Experience

• Drive continuous innovation in event formats, enhancing the Valentino client journey and emotional connection with the brand;
• Identify opportunities to elevate experiential marketing in line with luxury industry evolution;
• Ensure all activations reinforce Valentino’s values of creativity, craftsmanship and exclusivity.
