The LG Costing Officer is responsible for evaluating and estimating costs, working closely with various departments to ensure accurate cost assessment.

The role supports Product Development activities related to data entry, material consumption, and data configuration on PLM for leather goods, including bags, wallets, and accessories.

Key activities include applying target costing and target pricing methodologies, conducting data analysis, and monitoring cost variations from the prototype stage through to sample collection and production.

The role also covers margin analysis for collections, cost variation analysis following defect corrections, and other cost simulations, archiving documentation, and preparing reports.

Job Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities

• 
  
• Analyze, report on, negotiate, and find improved cost solutions from the prototype phase through to production.
  
• Manage costing timing
  
• Analyze finished product costs.
  
• Analyze the cost incidence of components.
  
• Evaluate alternative scenarios.
  
• Collaborate with the Development, Industrialization, and Production teams to identify constructive alternatives.
  
• Collaborate with the Merchandising and Development teams to find solutions that meet target margins.
  
• Review and analyze cost sheets for finished products received from suppliers (women's and men's leather goods collections, across all categories).
  
• Maintain the Cost Accounting System on PLM.
  
• Prepare reports.
  

Profile

Profile Bachelor's or Master's Degree Working proficiency in Italian and English (knowledge of French is a plus) Knowledge of PLM Strong problem-solving skills Aptitude for analytical work, with precision and method Strong analytical and negotiation skills Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) At least 3 years of experience in a similar role Experience with PLM data entry is a plus

For this role the initial annual gross salary is EUR 35.000.

This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.

In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.

The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Industria Tessile Abbigliamento), as applied by Givenchy in Italy.
