SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with expertise in the French market to join a multinational company. Ideal Profile: - Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent; - Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting; - Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting; - Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes; - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, reliability and problem-solving skills; - Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel; - Fluent in English and Italian, French is a plus; - Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred, but not mandatory. Job Description: The selected candidate, based in Milan and part of the South Europe Accounting Team, the will: - Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Group's French entities; - Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables; - Support cash management, payments and financial reporting; - Maintain and review financial records, including fixed assets, payroll postings and month-end accruals; - Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations; - Manage general accounting, VAT returns and statutory tax reporting, in collaboration with local advisors; - Liaise with external auditors and support the resolution of accounting matters; - Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects. - Operational support in the organization of meetings, events and corporate activities. Availability: Immediate or to be agreed. Work location: Province of Milan (Sesto San Giovanni and nearby towns in the northern Milan area).
