Job Description SummaryThe IMI Commercial Finance Specialist reports to the LCT Finance Manager and is responsible for providing the relevant business stakeholders with the best-fitting finance solutions to deliver customer outcomes and drive growth, while analyzing company risk and reward. The role interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, and services, leveraging an understanding of industry trends to contribute to the financial decision-making process.Partnering closely with both the LCT Finance Manager and HFS, the role helps drive profitable growth and cash-conversion-cycle improvements. It provides financial leadership to the LCT Leadership team, works closely with Controllership, commercial, and operational teams, and ensures disciplined budgeting, forecasting and reporting.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Business PartneringSupport the LCT Finance Manager in providing financial leadership to the entire LCT Leadership team.Coop with risk CoE team to get comprehensive financial analyses to provide insightful recommendations and support strategic business decisions effectively and timely.Actively participate in strategic planning exercises, providing financial expertise and contributing to the development of long-term business strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.Cultivate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders (such as department heads and executives) and external partners (including clients and vendors) to foster collaboration and support organizational objectives.Planning, Forecasting & ReportingAccountable for collaborating with FP&A central and local teams and leveraging historical data and market trends to develop robust financial plans aligned with organizational goals.Compile and present detailed financial reports tailored to the needs of upper management, ensuring clarity and accuracy in conveying financial insights.Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement monitoring mechanisms to track financial performance, enabling timely adjustments and proactive management of financial targets.Risk, Controllership & Cash ManagementWork closely with Controllership and drive understanding of GE HealthCare policies by the commercial and operational teams.Support review of the balance sheet in collaboration with Controllership to identify operational trends and potential risks.Oversee the billing and credit-recovery processes, implementing efficient procedures and controls to ensure timely invoicing and minimize delinquencies, thereby optimizing cash-flow management.Productivity, Process Improvement & AIConduct in-depth analysis of operational processes and financial metrics to identify areas for improvement, proposing actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency.Support to drive productivity by identifying opportunities, sponsoring initiatives, and driving outcomes to deliver measurable value across the LCT.Support the FP&A vision for Europe and drive the adoption of AI and automation – at both LCT and Central levels – to simplify recurring finance activities and accelerate decision-making.Identify and scale high-impact AI and automation use cases, embedding them into standard processes and governance in line with GE HealthCare policies.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.Proven experience working in Finance.Finance technical knowledge and experience, with independence in problem-solving and decision-making.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues clearly and concisely.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and zones.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans.Strong analytical mindset, project-management skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure; accelerate pacing of actions;Adaptable and flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and comfortable operating in very dynamic situations.Experience working in a matrixed and multicultural environment.Technical & Data ProficiencyAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems (SAP preferred).Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, including the development of dashboards and management reports.Exposure to AI and automation in a finance context (e.g., generative AI, machine-learning-based forecasting, RPA, or advanced analytics), with a demonstrated appetite to identify use cases and drive adoption across teams.LanguagesFluent in English and ItalianFor Italy based positions,Annual Salary Range: 48,400.00 EUR - 66,550.00 EUR C.C.N.L per i dipendenti dalle Industrie Metalmeccaniche private e della Installazione di impianti sottoscritto da Federmeccanica, Assistal, Fim-CISL, Fiom-CGIL e Uilm-UIL.Placement within this range depends on:Relevant skills and qualificationsPrior job-related experienceInternal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.We review pay ranges regularly to ensure they remain competitive with the external market and align with our internal equity considerations.Inclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
