We are seeking a Local Marketing Specialist – Italy & new markets to join the Marketing team in Milan.

As Local Marketing Specialist, you will adapt and execute our global marketing strategy in Italy and new markets in Europe. Your goal is to make campaigns, content and events resonate locally, while staying aligned with xFarm's global brand direction. You will report to the Head of Regional Marketing and work side by side with local sales, product and global marketing teams.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Contribute to the country yearly strategic plan working closely with the Head of Regional Marketing to:

· propose and update the go-to-market strategy aligning sales, marketing and product.

· design the local marketing plan at 360° for your countries — including recommendation for budget allocation

· Once defined, you’ll have full ownership of its delivery in particular:

· execution of fairs & local events in your markets: from positioning and target messaging with Sales, briefs for the global content team who produces the materials, logistics, on-site execution and performance reporting.

· adaptation of global content to the specific needs of your markets: website, new product launch assets

· delivery of the social media plan on IG & FB: from editorial plan to asset production and performance monitoring

· analysis of marketing initiatives effectiveness, identifying the most impactful channels in terms of ROI to ensure the highest business impact.

· on-the-ground market intelligence, including competitors, pricing, customer needs, regulatory changes, relevant opportunities and risks

· when relevant: activation of local partnerships and co-marketing plans with retailers, distributors and associations.

· You’ll collaborate actively with internal teams on the following topics

· Designing the local CRM campaigns by aligning on the editorial calendar and business priorities

· Contributing to the corporate Linkedin editorial calendar led by the Marketing Global team

You will be a perfect fit if:

· At least 2 years of experience in marketing roles with direct ownership of local campaigns, ideally in agri-tech or agri-food industries. Tech technology or B2B/B2B2C environments are also a plus.

· Perfect knowledge of Italian (C2) and excellent knowledge of English (at least C1)

· Proven experience running a marketing plan end-to-end: from objectives and budget to execution and performance reporting.

· Hands-on experience organising fairs and events, from briefing and positioning to on-site execution and post-event reporting.

· Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt global messaging to different markets and audiences.

· Solid understanding of the agricultural ecosystem — key stakeholders, market dynamics and industry needs — or a strong motivation to build it quickly.

· Autonomy, ownership and a pragmatic, hands-on approach; comfortable coordinating with distributed global teams and always putting the customer at the centre of your work.

· Availability to travel across Italy and Europe.

Now it would be great if you have also:

· Previous experience working in a multi-country marketing role.

· Experience in using tools like Claude/ChatGPT, Capcut, Canva/Figma, Salesforce.

· Knowledge of additional languages (Spanish, French, or Polish).

Compensation

RAL: range € 30.000 - € 40.000 (commensurate with experience)

This role operates in a hybrid work model, with a seasonal balance between field presence and office/smart working as detailed above.
