Posizione:Total Warranty Spending Control Leader - ADAS

In the context of increasing vehicle electronic complexity and growing warranty exposure, MICLA customer intends to reinforce its capability to anticipate, prevent, and control warranty costs and spending on ADAS systems, identified as major contributors to warranty spend.

This position is created to ensure early risk detection, faster reaction, robust corrective actions, and measurable cost containment, while maintaining customer satisfaction and brand image.

The role operates in a multi-project, multi-vehicle environment across the full EMEA perimeter (WE, CE, SE, Morocco) and requires strong cross-functional coordination.

Scope and Perimeter

• Warranty cost control on ADAS
• Multi-vehicle and multi-program scope
• Full EMEA geographical coverage
• Functional interfaces with:
• Engineering & Validation
• Quality & Control Tower
• Warranty & After Sales
• Purchasing & Finance
• Suppliers

Main tasks & responsibilities :

• Anticipation and Prevention of Warranty Issues
• Identify early quality and cost risks through:
• Field data, warranty claims, incident trends, and customer verbatims
• Validation results and technical feedback loops
• Consolidate and correlate heterogeneous data sources (claims, incidents, costs, issues).
• Act upstream (design reviews, validation actions, software releases) to:
• Prevent recurrence during serial life
• Limit downstream warranty exposure
• Problem Solving and Cost Containment
• Lead structured root cause analysis on high-cost or high-occurrence issues (8D, A3, problem-solving best practices)
• Define, validate, and monitor corrective actions with:
• Clear ownership
• Measurable and validated cost impact
• Propose proactive initiatives dedicated to warranty cost reduction.
• Acceleration of Issue Resolution
• Identify weaknesses in After Sales data quality and completeness.
• Reduce cycle time between:
• Field detection
• Technical decision
• Corrective action deployment
• Challenge:
• Unnecessary part replacements
• Excessive labour times
• Over-complex repair solutions
• Promote the least-cost technical solution ensuring:
• Customer satisfaction
• Warranty cost optimization
• Replacement limited to strictly necessary components
• Cross-Functional and Supplier Coordination
• Animate and align cross-functional teams: Engineering, Validation, Quality, Purchasing, After Sales
• Drive Engineering teams toward:
• Root cause ownership
• Robust and sustainable corrective actions
• Interface with suppliers to:
• Ensure accountability and technical resolution
• Define and challenge action timelines
• Enable cost recovery when applicable
• Identify and manage interdependencies between actions and projects.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Define, track and analyse:
• Warranty costs
• Incident KPIs
• Repair efficiency
• Savings effectiveness
• Detect early deviations and negative trends.
• Build and present:
• Synthetic dashboards
• Weekly action plan status reviews
• Ensure transparency and timely escalation when performance targets are at risk.

Requisiti:Technical / Functional Skills

• Engineering degree (BSC or MSC)
• Solid understanding of ADAS electronic systems
• Experience with quality, validation, warranty, or after-sales environments
• Data analysis and dashboard capability (Power BI)
• Tools:
• Power BI (TWC Tool, Quantic)
• Foundry
• SIRIUS
• PLM
