The Senior Data Engineer serves both our business partners as well as the Information Technology (IT) organization delivering high quality products with timely business impact. They are responsible for helping our business partners engage successfully with our products and services acting as a bridge between the IT organization and the various business teams. The Senior Data Engineer primary responsibilities are to design and maintain our database schemas analyze and organize raw data from various data sources to transform raw data into business information to develop backend ETL processes and to maintain the data model for the data warehouse.
The Senior Data Engineer works collaboratively with other IT teams including Data Architect Data Engineers Software Engineers and managers QA/Test Engineers and is expected to build close trusting relationships with the business-lines. He or she will be expected to innovate and provide suggestions and solutions to maintain and improve the current and future developments of the company.
