SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

Purpose of the position:

As Survey and Integrity Engineer, the resource will be employed in SATRUN4 department performing engineering activities aimed to:

• Provision inspection and maintenance services for offshore pipelines and subsea structures, with the objective of ensuring asset integrity, safety, and long-term operational reliability. The services cover the full lifecycle of offshore assets, from routine inspection planning through detailed condition assessment and maintenance planning;
• Technical qualification of suitable and reliable subcontractors for the execution of offshore/shore approach survey and inspection activities with intelligent pigging of pipeline and other subsea installation;
• Subcontractors follow-up during project execution.

How Can You Support Us?

The resource will join a team dedicated execution of the following tasks:

• Development of Inspection and Maintenance Plans for subsea assets following a systematic risk-based approach;
• Supporting construction projects as Project Specialist for Integrity Management Services;
• Definition of the requirements for acquisition of survey and intelligent pigging data;
• Supervision of survey and inspection activities;
• Creation and maintenance of updated survey/inspection databases dedicated to specific projects.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Master degrees in mechanical or civil engineering
• Background: 0- 2 years of experience in a relevant role
• Languages: English B2 or higher

Technical Knowledge:

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation;
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals, scripting techniques and basic familiarity with at least one object programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB.NET, C++, etc.).

• Proactive approach, solution-oriented mindset, and ability to carry out assigned tasks;
• Practical attitudes, concreteness;
• Teamwork, flexibility and open-mindedness;
• Effective time and priority management to ensure project deadlines are met;

What else should you know?

Some travel will be expected in Italy and abroad with the possibility of working for short periods in offshore and onshore environments, such as survey vessels and industrial plants.
