Job Description | Legal Specialist, Real Estate & Land Acquisition (Renewable Energy)

Nat Power operates in the renewable energy sector, developing and building photovoltaic and storage (BESS) projects for leading energy operators. The company offers a professional growth path in a young and dynamic environment, with ongoing training and mentoring.

The role

We are looking for a professional to join the Legal Department with a primary focus on real estate contracts (land, real rights, powers of attorney) related to the development of renewable energy plants, supporting the management of the entire land rights acquisition cycle. The role also involves secondary, supporting involvement in general contract law and basic corporate matters.

Main responsibilities – Real Estate & Land (core)

• 
  
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating land rights acquisition agreements: purchase agreements, preliminary contracts, surface rights, easements, lease agreements and other agreements with landowners
  
• Preparing and managing special powers of attorney (including bilingual IT/EN) for the execution of land-related deeds, including coordination for notarization and apostille
  
• Managing relationships with notaries, external law firms, land registry offices and municipal technical offices for due diligence and registration of deeds
  
• Supporting access procedures for landlocked plots, rights of way, and coordination with third parties (e.g. grid operators, highway concessionaires) regarding interferences
  
• Monitoring contractual deadlines, conditions precedent, deposits/indemnities and obligations related to land contracts
  
• Supporting (in coordination with the technical team) contractual aspects related to TICA (Testo Integrato delle Connessioni Attive) and the Single Authorization (Autorizzazione Unica), to the extent they affect land titles
  
• Preparing status reports on ongoing contracts and matters
  

Secondary responsibilities – General contract law and corporate matters

• 
  
• Reviewing NDAs/confidentiality agreements for Italian projects
  
• Supporting intra-group contracts (shareholder financing, services, reimbursements) and other commercial contracts
  
• Providing operational support to corporate secretarial matters (e.g. drafting minutes, resolutions) under the supervision of a more senior lawyer
  
• Occasional support on MoUs/letters of intent
  

Areas of occasional support (not a primary responsibility)

• 
  
• Ad hoc assistance on pre-litigation and litigation matters (e.g. document collection, correspondence)
  
• Ad hoc assistance on intellectual property matters (e.g. deadline monitoring, administrative filings)
  
• Ad hoc assistance on M&A transactions or activities relating to countries other than Italy, as needed
  

Essential requirements

• Bachelor's or single-cycle Master's degree in Law
  
• Prior experience (even brief, 1-3 years) in real estate law, contract law or real estate - preferably at a law firm, notarial practice or in-house legal department
  
• Knowledge of real rights (surface rights, easements, leases) and their practical implications (registration, land registry, notarial practice)
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in contract drafting
  
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and to liaise with external counterparts (notaries, landowners, public authorities)
  
• Good command of English (reading and drafting bilingual documents)
  
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite
  

Nice to have

• Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector
  
• Basic knowledge of Single Authorization/TICA procedures
  
• Interest or minimal experience in corporate and intellectual properties matters
  
• Familiarity with contract management/deadline-tracking software
