Our European team is expanding and we are looking for a new Quality & Food Safety Manufacturing Manager!

Main Purpose of the role

The Global Manufacturing Quality Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving the global manufacturing quality standards, systems, and ways of working across all production sites. This role ensures that products are consistently manufactured according to company quality and food safety requirements, delivering superior consumer experiences and supporting business growth.

Acting as the key interface between Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D, the Global Manufacturing Quality Manager drives excellence in manufacturing processes, strengthens quality capabilities across the organization, and ensures the effective integration of quality principles within company operating models.

The role is accountable for establishing global standards, fostering operational excellence, and ensuring that manufacturing quality is embedded in daily operations across all plants.

What you will do

• 
  
• Define and deploy the global manufacturing quality strategy, standards, and governance framework.
  
• Develop and maintain global procedures, policies, and requirements related to manufacturing quality and food safety.
  
• Establish harmonized manufacturing quality practices across all regions and production sites.
  
• Ensure alignment between Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D functions.
  
• Define and maintain global manufacturing quality standards, critical process controls, and quality assurance requirements.
  
• Lead the development of global methodologies for HACCP; process control; validation, process capability, and manufacturing quality control, among others.
  
• Co-Lead investigations related to major quality incidents and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.
  
• Ensure that manufacturing quality principles are effectively embedded within the Integrated Work System (IWS);
  
• Partner with Operations Excellence teams to integrate quality requirements into IWS pillars, routines, and governance.
  
• Support the implementation of digital quality solutions and manufacturing analytics platforms.
  
• Define reporting standards, dashboards, and performance-monitoring systems.
  

Our Perfect Candidate

• 
  
• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 8 –10 years of experience in manufacturing quality, food safety, operations, or quality management within the FMCG or food industry.
  
• Proven experience leading quality programs in manufacturing environments across multiple sites and regions.
  
• Deep understanding of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and GFSI requirements.
  
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, statistical process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  
• Experience with Integrated Work Systems (IWS), TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence programs is preferred.
  
• Experience implementing digital quality and manufacturing systems.
  
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and cultures.

The position offers a gross annual salary starting from 70,000€. Additional compensation and company benefits may also apply and will be discussed and defined during the selection process and on an individual basis.
