Are you in?Your roleKey responsibilities in your new roleYou will be the trusted technical partner for selected worldwide key customers, supporting them throughout the development lifecycle and helping them succeed with Infineon's latest automotive microcontroller solutions. Working closely with customers and internal experts, you will solve complex technical challenges, drive proof-of-concepts, and share your expertise through technical guidance and training.Support customers in early project phases, at decisive project milestones, and during escalations to help them achieve their development goals with Infineon’s latest automotive microcontrollersWork hands-on with customers remotely and on-site to debug complex technical issues, remove performance bottlenecks, and drive technical proof-of-conceptsUse your application know-how and knowledge in embedded systems, to prove why our application solution is technically superior in real customer use casesBuild and maintain a strong internal Infineon network to quickly connect customer questions with the right experts in Application Engineering, R&D, product, and system teams Create clarity in ambiguous technical situations by asking the right questions, structuring findings, and driving the next steps together with customers and internal stakeholdersShare knowledge within the distributed Application Engineering team and contribute to a supportive team culture based on curiosity, ownership, and mutual helpTrain and enable Field Application Engineers and customers in your area of technical expertiseYour profileQualifications and skills to help you succeed You are a confident communicator who builds strong relationships with customers, Field Application Engineers, and internal technical stakeholders worldwide. With a curious mindset and the confidence to take ownership in situations where not all answers are available upfront, you leverage your internal network, engage the right experts, and drive technical challenges to successful outcomes.A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Software Engineering, or a similar field of study3+ years of experience in automotive Tier 1 or OEM environments and understanding of complex embedded systems development, integration, and debugging in customer projectsStrong hands-on experience in embedded software development in C, ideally on both application and low-level sideSolid expertise in low-level debugging under pressure, including topics such as boot, startup, multicore, peripherals, and performancePrevious experience with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers or RISC-V is a strong plusFlexibility to travel internationally on short-notice, typically 5–10 trips per year, ranging from one day to up to two weeks during critical project phasesFluency in EnglishPlease send us your CV in English.Please note that:Subject to meeting all job requirements, belonging to protected categories under Law 68/69 will be considered a preferential requirementSalary pay information:LocationIndicative salary rangePadova, Italy€38320 - €52690The stated salary comprises annual base pay and target variable compensation.
