Contribute to design reviews and design verification;Identify variation requests to support contract changes;Follow work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost;Complete risk and opportunity assessments and the implementation of resulting actions in area of responsibility. Report any contract / quality / program / cost issues to management for resolution;Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of design assignments; Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, provide design related evaluation of proposals for standard materials and equipment;Assist in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings;Create specifications for purchase and manufacturing, interface with suppliers and production dept;Use internal standard rules, processes and tools;Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.Your backgroundEngineering Degree or Technical Diploma (electrical/mechanical);3/4 years of experience in mechanical / electromechanical design;Experience in transformers field is a plus;Good knowledge of CAD 2D/3D;PTC Creo Parametric, SAP knowledge is a plus;Good knowledge of English and Italian;Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers.More about usWe believe great work thrives in an environment where people feel genuinely supported and fairly rewarded.
