The candidate will join the Financial Engineering AI team within the Front Office area of Mediobanca.
The internship will focus on the development of AI-powered solutions for financial markets, with particular emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, knowledge retrieval systems, and workflow automation.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of an AI platform supporting traders, structurers, sales teams and quantitative analysts. Activities will span from building AI agents and integrating LLMs into existing systems to developing tools for knowledge management, market intelligence, code analysis, and automation of financial workflows.
The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Quantitative Finance and Software Engineering, gaining exposure to real-world applications of advanced AI technologies in an investment banking environment.
