We are looking for a Production Planner.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production plans and timelines defined in coordination with the international HQ, working closely with Procurement, Product Development, suppliers and manufacturing partners and promptly addressing any deviations.
• Identify production delays or critical issues in a timely manner, implementing the necessary re-planning activities and corrective actions.
• Collect and consolidate supplier pricing, monitor production costs and support the preparation and update of product cost sheets.
• Liaise daily with suppliers, factories and manufacturing partners, monitoring production progress and ensuring continuous alignment with internal teams.
• Manage production orders with manufacturing partners, verifying costs, lead times, contractual documentation and the accuracy of all supporting documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams (Product Development, Procurement, Quality and Logistics), suppliers and international teams to ensure the proper management of information flows and production-related documentation, supporting the operational follow-up of product development activities, including material and component requests, samples and approvals.
• Monitor deliveries, coordinate inbound shipments and evaluate supplier performance, preparing reports and KPI analyses to support production planning activities.
• Support the continuous development of planning processes and tools, contributing to the implementation and improvement of the company's ERP and planning systems.

As the Milan organization and its planning processes continue to develop, the role will progressively gain greater exposure to structured production planning activities, including production plans, order quantities and material requirements based on forecasts, BOM and consumption data.

Requirements

• At least 6 years' experience in Production Planning or Supply Chain roles within the fashion industry.Strong knowledge of production planning, Supply Chain processes and production progress monitoring across external manufacturing partners.
• Good understanding of fashion raw materials, consumption logic, Bills of Materials (BOM) and the main production planning processes.
• Experience managing relationships with suppliers, factories and international manufacturing partners.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP systems; familiarity with production planning tools would be considered an advantage.
• Fluent English, essential for managing daily communication with international suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Availability to travel to suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Familiarity with fashion products, materials and basic product terminology would be considered an advantage, supporting effective communication with suppliers and international teams on product and production-related matters.
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in using new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity would be considered an advantage.
