Valet, Season 2027 - Splendido, A Belmond Hotel

Our elevated escape is perched in the protected Portofino hills, overlooking the glittering Gulf of Tigullio and charming Portofino. For the next season 2027, we are looking a Valet to join our front of the house team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

He/She will Report to the Head Concierge.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Deal with all Valets operations (greeting guests and escorting them to reception;
• Drive and park cars and shuttles, manage arrivals and departures) according to Belmond policies, procedures and compliance with our code of conduct;
• Coordinate with reception and concierge;
• Assist with all guest’s requests.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred;
• Previous work experience in the same position in 5 stars hotels Knowledge of hotel management software such as Infor HMS or others, Microsoft suite;
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;
• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability;
• Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player;
• Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues;
• Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background.
