Within the Space Division, in the Science, Space Exploration, Logistics Infrastructures & Services area of the U.O. Technology, Innovation & Systems Architecture we are looking for an In Orbit Services Engineer for our office in Rome - Via Faustiniana.

The person knows space engineering architectures, space system architectures and/or robotics applied to space and is able to follow the design process up to the implementation phase. Performs mission analysis also through simulations. Follows and manages the execution of study projects, specifications and development of space systems for space exploration.

Education:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics and/or PhD.

Required experience level:

• Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role
• Expert: 3-5 years of experience in the role

Technical skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge of testing methodologies for verification and validation and of the main international regulations and standards (NASA, ECSS, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation and control techniques and/or artificial intelligence applied to space missions is an additional asset.

IT skills:

• Knowledge of system design tools (FEM, Satlink, Simulink and similar)

• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally (participation in meetings, conferences, congresses)

How does the selection process work?

Following the collection of applications, the CVs most in line with the required requirements are evaluated and identified.
