And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionFounded in 1979, ASEM has actively participated in the evolution of digital information technologies and today we operate in the markets of Industrial Automation, Test, Measurement with a complete range of industrial PCs and monitors and a complete range of HMI, control, remote assistance, and Industrial IoT gateways, characterized by our own hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and system design capability.Since 2020 we have been part of the American multinational group Rockwell Automation, a leading player operating in the industrial automation sector with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA).As a Software Test Engineer , you will contribute to the development and validation of FactoryTalk Optix — a modern visualization platform designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration in industrial environments.You will support software testing activities across the development lifecycle, working with experienced engineers to ensure product quality.You will report to the Test & Technical Project Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Verona, Italy.Your Responsibilities:Complete software testing activities, including test design, execution, and reportingContribute to the creation and maintenance of manual and automated test cases under guidanceHelp develop automated tests using Python or SquishParticipate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test casesMonitor test execution results and report software defectsHelp maintain test documentation according to team standardsCollaborate with global teams in an Agile/Scrum environmentSupport continuous integration activities by building and updating test casesLearn and apply testing methodologies, tools, and best practicesThe Essentials
- You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent educationBasic knowledge or initial experience in software testingBasic programming knowledge (preferably Python or similar language)Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems1+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesEnglish skillsThe Preferred
