Job Title: Junior Wireless & Core Network Solution Sales Engineer (Extra-curricular Intern) Job Location: Milan, Via Lorenteggio 240 (Italy) Work Policy & Hours: On-site (5 days/week in office, 09:00 – 18:00) Contract Type: 6-Month Internship (Path to Full-Time employment) Compensation: €1,000 gross/month + €8/day meal vouchers ( buoni pasto ) About the Role & Program Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This intensive 6-month internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT leaders. You will work alongside industry experts, gain hands-on experience in Wireless Access (5G, LTE, RAN) and Core Network architectures (5GC, EPC, Cloud Native, IMS), technical solution design, and customer engagement, transitioning directly into a full-time role upon successful completion. Main Responsibilities: Market & Needs Analysis: Conduct technical and market analysis to identify mobile network trends, evaluate operator and enterprise pain points, and uncover growth opportunities for end-to-end Wireless and Core Network solutions. Solution Architecture & Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, tailor, and present high-impact technical proposals combining radio access coverage with cloud-native core network requirements. Client Engagement & Demos: Assist in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations, product presentations, and solution roadmaps for 5G RAN and 5G Core deployment scenarios to prospective clients. Presales & Project Support: Support senior Solution Sales Engineers with technical documentation, capacity planning, signaling/traffic analysis, and tender responses to drive commercial targets and technology adoption. Requirements: Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date. Technical & Sales Passion: Strong foundational interest in mobile network architecture (5G/4G RAN, 5G Core/EPC, cloud virtualization, network slicing), enterprise presales, and technical consulting. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence for international team environments. Languages: Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English. Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
