Job Title: Junior IP Telecommunications Network Engineer (Extra-curricular Intern)

Job Location: Milan, Via Lorenteggio 240 (Italy)

Work Policy & Hours: On-site (5 days/week in office, 09:00 – 18:00)

Contract Type: 6-Month Internship (Path to Full-Time employment)

Compensation: €1,000 gross/month + €8/day meal vouchers (buoni pasto)

About the Role & Program

Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This intensive 6-month internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT leaders. You will work alongside industry experts, gain hands-on experience in Datacom (IP) technologies, and transition directly into a full-time role upon successful completion.

Main Responsibilities:

• Solution Delivery: Plan, design, and implement B2B delivery solutions for Datacom (IP) domain products.

• Deployment & Integration: Install, configure, commission, and integrate high-performance telecommunications equipment.

• Network Optimization: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fine-tune network configurations to maximize stability and performance.

• Technical Support & Client Engagement: Collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve technical issues, support project rollouts, and drive technology adoption.

Requirements:

• Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date.

• Technical Passion: Strong foundational knowledge of network architecture and mobile domain technologies.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.

• Languages: Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English.

• Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
