Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our plant in Merlino (LO). Reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Manager, you will:

• Support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out in line with production objectives and safety standards, ensuring that all activities are performed in compliance with company requirements;
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities (planned maintenance, line shutdowns, emergency interventions);
• Monitor work progress, ensuring compliance with planned timelines and allocated resources;
• Collaborate with suppliers and external contractors (equipment manufacturers, electricians, etc.) for the execution and supervision of maintenance activities;
• Contribute to the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of maintenance and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures;
• Support the training of maintenance personnel on operating procedures and company standards;
• Work closely with area managers to coordinate and schedule plant maintenance activities;
• Manage the issuance of purchase requisitions for materials and services (electrical and mechanical) and enter purchase orders into the SAP system;
• Support the organization and management of technical warehouses (electrical and mechanical);
• Provide support in the management of new projects and plant modifications;
• Participate in the development and management of digital tools for maintenance management (breakdown ticketing systems);
• Monitor and analyze key maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTTF, MTBF) to improve plant efficiency;
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality and delivery lead times.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Degree or high school diploma in a technical field such as Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent; a university degree in technical or engineering disciplines is considered a plus.
• 2 years of experience in an industrial environment and in roles closely connected with Production is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel);
• Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus;
• Knowledge of the English language.

• Gross annual salary no less than: 35.000k
• The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
