Group IT Application Analyst (internal department - SAP)

TXT Group is looking for an Application Analyst to join the Corporate IT Department, which is focused on internal projects.

The position will be assigned at Application Analyst Advanced or Application Analyst Specialist level, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience and level of autonomy.

The person we are looking for will contribute to ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance and evolution of the company’s applications, with a primary focus on the Group’s SAP ERP and progressive involvement across the entire corporate application ecosystem, in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.

The resource will be involved both in the operational management of applications and in the Group’s evolution and digital transformation projects, collaborating with Business stakeholders and external suppliers for the implementation of new solutions.

The person will report directly to the Group IT Application Manager, working proactively and with a level of autonomy and responsibility commensurate with their experience and skills.

Main responsibilities: Application Analyst Advanced

• Configuration, management and maintenance of corporate applications, in compliance with company policies and standards, with a particular focus on the Group’s SAP ERP;
• Analysis and resolution of issues reported by users and Business functions;
• Collaboration and interaction with external suppliers and partners;
• Oversight of integrations between the various corporate systems (ERP, BI, CRM, HCM, etc.);
• Preparation and updating of the technical-functional documentation required for the management and evolution of applications;
• User support and training activities on the occasion of new implementations and application releases.

For the Application Analyst Specialist role, the following additional responsibilities apply:

Application Analyst Specialist

• Gathering, analysis and definition of functional requirements and related technical-functional specifications;
• Autonomous management of evolution projects, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility;
• Coordination of activities carried out by external suppliers and partners;
• Support for architectural and functional decisions related to the evolution of the company’s application landscape;
• Coordination of cross-functional project teams.

Required technical skills: Application Analyst Advanced

• Experience participating in SAP ERP projects or activities;
• Knowledge of the main operational principles of an ERP system and of customizing activities;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Application Analyst Specialist

• Previous experience in similar roles;
• Experience in SAP ERP ECC projects or activities, with specific expertise in one or more of the following modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PS, HR;
• Proven technical-functional analysis skills and ability to independently manage corrective and evolutionary activities;
• Experience in managing application projects and coordinating suppliers and/or working groups.

Optional technical skills:

• Knowledge of ABAP;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Experience with one or more of the following types of solutions:
  • Data Warehouse, with experience in SAP Datasphere considered a plus;
  • Middleware / Integration Platform, with experience in SAP BTP and Integration Suite considered a plus;
  • CRM, with experience in HubSpot CRM considered a plus;
  • Business Intelligence, with experience in Qlik considered a plus.

The profile is completed by strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and a strong spirit of initiative, combined with enthusiasm and determination in tackling the activities and challenges of the role.

Education:

high school diploma or university degree in a technical field.

onboarding period

The onboarding period, whose duration will vary depending on the candidate’s background, will take place full-time on-site. At the end of the initial onboarding period, a hybrid working model will be adopted, with the possibility of working remotely as well.

• The contract offered for this position is a permanent employment contract and the salary provided for the Advanced role is within a gross annual salary range of EUR 30,000 to EUR 33,000, while for the Specialist role the salary range is EUR 33,500 to EUR 37,200 gross per year;
• The employment relationship will be governed by the Italian Metalworking Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico);
• The entry level and salary will be determined based on the candidate’s actual experience and skills. xysqume
