Role description and responsibilities

At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our consultants ("Rhinos") and our clients. As a consultant, you will have access to a network of national and international partners across diverse sectors of the tech industry. Our recruiters work to find the best position for you in terms of working policy and company culture, and our career coaches ensure all your professional needs are met.


Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience with iOS development using Swift
  • Strong grasp of SwiftUI (at least 2 years of recent experience — mandatory)
  • Experience working on large-scale applications, particularly customer-facing applications (mandatory)
  • Good exposure to modern iOS technologies and practices
  • Experience working autonomously, taking ownership of features end to end (from development and testing to deployment and production support)
  • Fluency in English (C1 level)
  • Availability for a remote regime based in Portugal (candidates must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit; EU-based candidates are welcome if willing to relocate to Portugal)

Nice to have

  • Experience modernizing or migrating existing iOS applications
  • Experience with Liquid Glass and/or newer iOS technologies
  • Experience in environments where the developer has ownership of the entire development lifecycle
