Our preliminary timeline: interviews start taking place in September, with role matching beginning around October. This timeline is subject to change depending on business needs. This position could be based in any Amazon Operations centre across Friuli Venezia Giulia, depending on availability and business needs. Please note that this role requires on-site presence. Key job responsibilities As an Amazon operations intern, you'll have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills to impactful projects that enhance the functionality and service of Fulfillment Centers, Sortation Centers, and Delivery Stations. Key aspects of the role include:

• Completing high-priority projects to the highest standard, demonstrating your ability to deliver results
• Analyzing data to identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement
• Proposing and testing solutions, collaborating with the team to implement the most effective ones
• Developing communication and teamwork skills by working with managers, stakeholders, and frontline associates.
• Be on the move within the building to engage with various teams. This includes actively gathering knowledge by participating in activities such as pre-briefs, flow meetings, and discussions with the leadership team and associates.
• Ability to navigate the workspace and move between different areas is essential for this position.
• Displaying flexibility to work various schedules and shift patterns as required.
• Potential relocation to the designated work location.

Internship Start Dates across the year:

• We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through July 2027. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently in your penultimate (graduating in 2028) or last year, and working towards a university degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.
• Eligible to complete a full-time internship (40hours/week) of 3-6 months with a start date between January and July 2027.
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and the local language of the country you are applying for (Common European Framework of Reference C1).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
• Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. Amazon's package may include further pay components where applicable.
