Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing Spares Supply Chain management Field Operations Engineering Product Training and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Primary Function:

Responsible to provide world class support services to KLA PCB Territory customers ensuring all KLA systems perform properly enabling high customer satisfaction and perception of the value of services received. Reports directly to the assigned Regional Service Manager.

Skill Requirements:

Candidates should have a solid background in electronics mechanical engineering vacuum technology and basic knowledge Printed Circuit Board technologies

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose Pneumatic Vacuum Electronic (AC and DC) and Computer issues to the component level.
• Must have working knowledge of WinNT Win XP Win7 & 10 Linux as well as MS Office products.
• Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• An adaptable approach to working hours locations and conditions.
• A flexible approach to work responsibilities enabling both independent and team working.
• Ability to work alone or unsupervised for extended period often in difficult conditions.
• A systematic and logical approach to problem solving.
• Must be able to travel extensively (up to 4 days a week or more per month) to support the customer base as required.
• Monday to Friday but availability on weekend support when needed for outstanding cases

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide service support to customers encompassing system commissioning system breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance support.
• Generate a close working relationship with the customers to enable the company to sell its product portfolio.
• Timely completion of all field reports.
• Represent KLA Company culture and values in a respectable manner.
• Travel required by driving and flying as needed to support all services.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: EUR 42.20000 - EUR 61.86667 Annually
