**Job Description
****Responsibilities
** Working as a Product Specialist Engineer the successful candidate will be providing high-level of technical support to the customer, field service engineers and technicians to ensure our equipments operate within specification, in-line with evolving customer requirements.The job focus will be on our equipments, mainly on our customer site.In this role, the person will also be in charge of the following activities:
* ## Supporting escalations and on-site projects such as tool installation
* ## Answering technical questions
* ## Troubleshooting, and resolving complex problems via phone, email, or in person
* ## Leading escalation meetings, both internally and externally
* ## Managing technical reporting both internally with our factory and externally with the customer
* ## Reporting customer issues, design concerns, reliability, or maintenance problems to the European and Japanese product engineering team
* ## Participating on creating local procedures, BKM and on providing technical training to both field service engineer and start-up engineers
* ## Working closely with other members from Tokyo Electron Europe Product Support Group by sharing experience/knowledge with purpose of enhancing the global European technical support departmentBased on business needs, the candidate might support
**activities in France as well

Additional support, business trips or remote support for other customers across all European sites may also be occasionally required.

**Main skills and requirements
** • Technical Education + at least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role; on technical support of complex electromechanical equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair/debugging.

Ideally within the semiconductor industry or an equivalent field • Extensive knowledge in mechanical/electrical engineering field or equivalent • Strong verbal & written communication ability • Strong skills in analysing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of complex technical issues with analysis tools (e.g.

8D, 5why, Ishikawa, Kepner Tregoe...) • Ability to work under pressure• Exceptional attention to detail • Organisation skills and flexibility (working time) • Specific focus on Safety procedures, Quality, and Compliance to reach customer’s satisfaction • Reflect TEL values and ethics, respect TEL safety, quality, compliance, and InfoSec initiatives at all times, and look to set an example for other employees in TEE and TEL • IT literacy skills (MS Excel, PPT, etc) • Fluency in both Italian and English language is essential
**Compensation
**Annual gross salary starting from 38K or 44K depending on experience and skills); final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.

In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
