This is a fantastic opportunity to join MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, the global leader in maritime shipping, and play a key role in supporting MSC’s strategy for digitalization and business growth.

As a Quality Assurance Automation Expert, you will be part of MSC’s Quality Assurance Automation (QAA) team within the Enterprise Data management & analytics stream, an agile and global team delivering an interconnected data platform to serve business users and products across business domains.

The successful candidate will need to be experienced in the testing field on big data solutions or similar products. Be able to design, implement and execute automated tests for cloud-based solutions and collaborate with data engineers and functional testers to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Create test scripts, assess system functionality, and ensure software quality in cloud environments.
  
• Understanding and practical application of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing integration into the development workflow. (Unit test, smoke test, No Regression test, integration test).
  
• Assess the scalability and responsiveness of cloud applications (performance/stress testing).
  
• Security testing principles and practices to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in cloud-based systems.
  
• Document testing approach, test scenarios, tests performed and results.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  
• Comply with MSC testing rules and policies.
  
• Act as a focal point of the team to manage the release management process.
  

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• 
  
• Work background as a tester in structured team.
  
• Development experience and background.
  
• Proficiency in testing tools, scripting languages, and cloud platforms.
  
• Sound experiences in scripting languages such as Python to create tools supporting testing activities, quality metrics retrieval and determination and more.
  
• Hands on knowledge of API testing tools and platforms such as Postman, Insomnia, Jmeter, Blazemeter
  
• Working knowledge of version control systems in general and more specifically Git.
  
• Knowledge of SQL and possibly other query languages such as KQL
  
• A degree in IT or computer science.
  

Preferred:

• 
  
• Experience with Platform as a service on Azure.
  
• Experience with Azure Devops
  
• Experience with Agile SCRUM.
