About the role

We are looking for a motivated Layout Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team in Milan.

During the internship you will support the development of plant layout solutions for Waste-to-Energy and Renewable Gas projects while working alongside experienced engineers in an international EPC environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in industrial plant engineering.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the development of plant layouts and 3D models for Waste-to-Energy and Renewable Gas projects.
  • Assist in the preparation review and update of layout drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate design activities.
  • Apply accessibility maintainability and constructability principles in plant layout design.
  • Participate in technical meetings and contribute to international EPC project activities.

Qualifications :

  • High school degree in Mechanical Energy Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D CAD tools and 3D modeling
  • Strong interest in industrial plants mechanical design and layout engineering.
  • Analytical mindset attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in Italian and English with good communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

Basic wage component: 1000 EUR/month

This amount is our minimal offered salary. Compensation is determined based on your level skills experience and qualifications.
