Job Purpose

As aRunnerwithSoho Houseyour role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm we will give you a platform to connect grow havefunand make an impact

Your main responsibility is toassistthe waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen (or drinks orders from the bar) to members tables acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor. Other responsibilities include ensuring tables are set up for service.

Key Accountabilities

  • To bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and deliver to members.
  • Tomaintaina spotless pristine work environment.
  • To provideservice to and is accountable for an assigned section.
  • To developrelationships with membersin order toprovide personalized service.
  • To polishcutlery ensuring they are ready for service.
  • To prepareany additions to tables in advance (preparing lemon wraps condiments butter portions etc).
  • To support withopening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
  • Tomaintaina spotless and pristine working environment.
  • To attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specialsalongside daily tastings.
  • To wipedown tables after members have leftresettingthe restaurant so we can welcome reservations and accommodate walk ins.
  • Tohandling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalismand escalate any complaints to your floor manager.
  • To act inall matters related to safety security satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members.
  • To assure the proper handling of VIPs and PWKs protecting their privacy and confidentiality.
  • To supporttheteamwith any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis.

A successfulRunnerfor Soho House willideallyhave up to experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class reliablefriendlyand happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to seize grasp turn and hold objects by hand
  • Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Occasionally kneel bend crouch and climb asrequired
