Purpose of the position: As Drilling Proposal Manager, you will respond to the head of Commercial Coordination and be part of the Business Development, Commercial & Tendering business line. In this role you will manage a dedicated team to follow tendering process. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the management and development of Drilling commercial activities in order to optimize success in contract awards and maximize the utilization of the Saipem Drilling fleet. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate proposal activities, including organizing commercial kick-off meetings when required
• Ensure preparation of marketing and tender documentation in line with Company procedures and Client requirements
• Manage interfaces with Clients and Partners and define scope of work for all parties involved in the bid
• Analyze contract requirements and lead cost estimation, cash flow definition and proposal submission to the Client
• Manage post-bid clarification, support negotiations and contribute to bidding strategy, market analysis and identification of opportunities

What are we looking for?

• Education: Master’s degree / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or similar fields is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience: Several years of experience as Proposal Manager / Tendering / Commercial roles within the Oil & Gas or Drilling industry
• Languages: Fluent English required (ability to interface with Clients and Partners)
• Technical/IT Skills:
• Contract management and negotiation
• Cost estimation and cash flow analysis
• Market analysis and competitive positioning
• Tendering strategy and commercial processes
• Knowledge of partnership frameworks (JV, MoU, consortia)

What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the projects and drilling operations assigned, interacting with international Clients, Partners and internal departments. What we can offer to you:
